Specific Material Description

ECTFE is an unfilled ethylene chlorotrifluoro ethylene which belongs to the family of fluoropolymers. In comparison to PVDF this material offers a broader chemical resistance, especially within the field of alkali chemicals.

In general its chemical resistance is also less temperature dependent.  The maximum allowed continuous service temperature in air is 150 °C.
